1) Going green, building green, living green is so expensive.
Between those balmy, beckoning summer nights, kids going back to school in the fall, and the blustery, hole-up-and-conserve-energy days of winter, it’s easy to neglect cleaning. Sure we’ll pick up toys and do the dishes, but I mean the down-and-dirty, scrub-until-the-floors-are-white kind of clean.
Call me crazy, but I love cleaning. Not in an obsessive, Monica-from-Friends kind of way, but I love that feeling of satisfaction I get after a good scrub session. A wave of bliss washes over me as I sink into the couch and survey the fruits of my labor—a spotless house.
