Vitamin B5 Lowers LDL Cholesterol Levels

Pantesin, a highly absorbable form of vitamin B5, has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol levels according to a study published in Nutrition Research.

The triple-blind, placebo/diet controlled trial included participants with low to moderate risk of cardiovascular disease. After 16 weeks, the group taking Pantesin saw significant drops in LDL levels in relations to the placebo group. Results are especially noteworthy, as prior studies have shown that each 1mg/DL reduction in LDL cholesterol lowers cardiovascular disease risk by one percent.

"Pantesin works at the cellular level, and helps maintain balanced cholesterol levels," said Dr. John Rumberger, a leading authority on cardiac and vascular imaging. "In addition, Pantesin helps maintain healthy blood lipid levels that are already within the normal range."
