Swheat Scoop Donated to Displaced Animals Following Oklahoma Tornado

Since the tornado hit Oklahoma last week, the nation has rallied to help those affected. And Pet Care Systems, maker of all-natural Swheat Scoop cat litter, was quick to remember even the smallest, fluffiest victims – homeless felines. Stepping up to the cause, the company has shipped 4,000 pounds of their new Lightly Scented Natural Clumping Litter, along with disposable litter boxes and scoops.

The Swheat Scoop donation, which is valued at $3,750, has been delivered to The Bella Foundation. The Oklahoma City non-profit is dedicated to assisting low-income, elderly or terminally ill pet owners with veterinarian costs and finding loving homes for rescued animals.

“A great number of Oklahoma citizens have lost even the most basic essentials, and local animals and rescues are experiencing the same needs,” comments Mark Hughes, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Pet Care Systems. “We hope that our donation to The Bella Foundation is a helpful resource in their time of need as the community is rebuilt.” For details on Swheat Scoop and their family of natural, eco-friendly cat litters, visit SwheatScoop.com.
