Let's hear you cheer "YAY OATS!"
National Oatmeal Day is Monday, October 29 and who better to celebrate this wholesome holiday than the people who've had a seat at the breakfast table for 135 years, Quaker Oats, a division of PepsiCo.
"Quaker provides mom and the entire family energy to get going and to help keep them going with the fuel needed to do the activities they love," said Justin Lambeth, Chief Marketing Officer for Quaker Oats. "It all starts with breakfast, and we've been getting families off to a delicious and healthy start with whole grain oats for more than a century, so it's a natural fit for us to lead this fun celebration."
As part of National Oatmeal Day, Quaker is rallying the country to cheer "YAY OATS!" and share the joy of this special day via different social media platforms. To learn more, visit nationaloatmealday.com.
Some of the key program highlights are:

What's more, Quaker Coach and celebrity fitness expert Bob Harper will be sharing his whole grain gratitude and health and wellness tips via a virtual Twitter "party" on the 29th from 1:00pm – 2:00 pm EDT. "I'm excited to celebrate National Oatmeal Day with Quaker because it's an opportunity for me to highlight the importance of starting off with a healthy breakfast like oatmeal, which sets the tone for the rest of the day," said Quaker Coach Bob Harper. "Try making it with berries or a little agave or incorporating oats into pancakes or a smoothie to keep breakfast nutritious and exciting."
