The Coffee Cure for Men

Coffee tends to have a bad reputation when it comes to your health—mainly due to its high caffeine content. Yet researchers have found that coffee is actually beneficial to human health. Men who regularly drink coffee have a much smaller risk of developing prostate cancer than men who do not drink coffee, according to a study conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health.

Ah, but don’t guzzle the coffee just yet; the study also found that men who drank decaffeinated coffee had the lowest risk of prostate cancer. Coffee has also been identified to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia, gallstone disease, and Parkinson’s disease. It improves short term memory, protects the liver, reduces the risk of cancer, and moderately reduces the risk of a cardiovascular event in both men and women.
