Meet the editors of Natural Solutions magazine:

Lauren Lauren Piscopo, editor-in-chief of Natural Solutions magazine, has worked at magazines for 20 years, including a stint in the early ’90s at Cosmopolitan, where she was the only editor willing to try natural beauty products. So began her addiction to beauty swag, and she hasn’t bought shampoo since. When she’s not studying food labels for processed evil, she’s busy discovering nutritional supplements to add to her vast collection. Lauren also enjoys working on stories about holistic therapies like acupuncture, meditation, neti pots, chi boosting—anything that will help her ease stress, find balance, and amuse her not-so-alternative friends and family.
Sarah Sarah Toland, senior editor of features and food for Natural Solutions, began to be wary of everything she put in her body—Diet Coke and fried calamari included—when she started running professionally after graduating from Colby College in Maine. No longer so fleet-footed, Sarah is even more interested in areas of nutrition, fitness, and health, although she’ll still make dietary concessions for fried calamari every now and then. With a passion for writing, Sarah has covered topics from acting to fly-fishing for The New York Times, and when not crafting sentences or running mile sprints, she likes to spend her free time visiting art museums, drinking inexpensive sauvignon blanc, and reflecting on the sandy beaches that make up her native Cape Cod.
Katy Katy Neusteter, managing editor of Natural Solutions, has covered green living, health, and sustainability for a decade. Notorious for turning off lights and appliances whenever possible, she enjoys spreading the eco-gospel to anyone who will listen. When she’s not interviewing green-industry experts, Katy is an avid cyclist, angler, cinephile, reader, and traveler. And after years of being committed to organic, local, and fair trade, Katy is excited to announce she has finally made the switch to natural toothpaste. Her writing has appeared in Wired, Outside, Men’s Journal, and Delicious Living.
Melaina Melaina Juntti, Natural Solutions beauty and wellness editor/resident toxin avenger, enjoys scribing about the latest natural health, beauty, and lifestyle trends. When not gleefully “dorking out” over grammar and punctuation or policing personal care products for toxins, Melaina loves hiking, hunting, working out, and seeing live music.
Cheryl Cheryl Meyers, health and web editor of Natural Solutions, oversees the magazine’s Healthy Tonics and Simple Solutions sections. Before joining the Natural Solutions team, Cheryl was an editor at Denver’s city magazine, 5280, where she wrote about homes, food, travel, culture, and health and wellness. In addition to sampling supplements and scouring medical journals, the Chicago native enjoys long hikes in the Rocky Mountains, rides on her pink cruiser bike, and dreaming up ways to make her home more eco-friendly.
Stacey Stacey Lindsay is editorial assistant at Natural Solutions, where she is excited to imbibe the journalistic and health knowledge of the editors. After working in the film industry in New York and Los Angeles, Stacey decided to go back and earn her master’s degree in journalism. Her goal is to spread awareness about healthy living via the written word. While not in the Natural Solutions office or in numerous graduate seminars, Stacey loves to hike while listening to Pearl Jam, peruse the aisles of health food stores, and ride horses.
