Simple Organic Cuticle Cream

Though seemingly unimportant, cuticles actually do more than you think. According to Richard Scher, MD, cuticles are a protection for the nail growth matrix. And, although you want to keep them maintained, cutting them could lead to infections, irritations, ridges, white spots, or white lines on your nails. The solution? Make your own cuticle cream to keep them soft and healthy.

DIY Honey Cuticle Cream

1.5 ounces beeswax

3 ounces apricot kernel oil

1 tablespoon honey

Melt the wax and oil in the microwave, stir in the honey, and pour into tins or other containers. This will help keep your cuticles soft and easy to push down with cuticle tools.
