Raspberries: Antioxidant-rich raspberries have been shown to prevent certain types of cancers. A study published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry found that black raspberries can kill leukemia cells while protecting healthy cells.

Spinach: Spinach is rich in folate, which can reduce the risk of breast cancer. The iron in this leafy green veggie may also boost your immunity and reduce the risk of ovarian cancer, according to the Nurses Health Study.

Artichokes:
The odd-looking vegetable is a good source of folate, fiber, and vitamin C. The USDA found that artichokes have more disease-fighting antioxidants than any other vegetable they tested.
