Beauty With a Conscience 2008 Contest Rules

Now that we’ve shared our favorites of the natural beauty world, we want to hear from you! We’ll be giving away four baskets full of winners and finalists from our 2008 Beauty With a Conscience Awards to readers who tell us their top beauty picks.

To qualify, send us an email at beauty@naturalsolutionsmag.com with your name, address, and phone number. Please also answer the following questions:

1. Why do you use natural beauty products?
2. What are your favorite skin, hair, and makeup products that pass our criteria, and why do you love them?

We’ll pick the best four responses and send those entrants a basket full of award winners. Plus, your responses may be used to decide the 2009 Reader’s Choice Awards appearing in the March 2009 issue of Natural Solutions.

Contest Rules

1. Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. Employees and agents of Innovision Health Media, its respective affiliates and subsidiaries and members of their immediate families and households are not eligible. See below for additional eligibility requirements.

2. To enter, please send an email with your name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and e-mail address to beauty@naturalsolutionsmag.com. Limit of one entry per person. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 p.m. MST on November 17, 2008. Correspondence will not be answered.

Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at sponsor‘s servers or elsewhere, will not be eligible. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the operation of the web site. Use of bots or other automated process to enter is prohibited and may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of sponsor. Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, unforseen event, or technical failures of any sort. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institute) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

3. Three potential winners will be selected on or around November 17, 2008, and will be notified by email or by telephone. If the potential winner selected cannot be contacted, does not respond within five (5) days, or the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such potential winner shall forfeit any and all rights to a prize and, at sponsors‘ sole discretion, an alternate potential winner may be selected. All decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects. No substitution of prizes.

4. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Any violation of these rules may result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of this contest, including without limitation mechanical, human, printing, distribution or production errors, and may modify or cancel this promotion based upon such error at its sole discretion without liability.
