People are often shocked to learn that my husband doesn’t practice yoga. What they don’t know is that he likes doing yoga with me. After all, yoga means union, right? We both love how we slow down and see each other in a fresh way, how our communication deepens without words, and how much we laugh trying to find balance together.

Breathing: Sit on the floor, back to back, with legs crossed. Place your fingers on the floor at your sides, touching the backs of your hands together. Inhale for five counts as you circle your arms out to the side and up. Exhale for five counts as you lower your arms back down to your sides. If one person has longer arms, you can touch hand to forearm.
Straddle stretch: Stand back to back with your legs in a wide straddle. Bend your knees, and gently fold forward. Reach your arms through your legs, and take hands. Straighten your legs, and as you inhale, one person leans forward more and the other one lifts up; as you exhale, reverse it. This is our favorite one because it makes us laugh, and what is sexier than that?
