Resources for Families of Children with Asperger’s Syndrome


Autism Research Institute
The institute is an advocacy group designed to educate and empower families of autistic children. The web site autism.org is brimming with information about autism and autistic spectrum disorders. The group also maintains a nationwide, searchable list of health care practitioners who treat autism.

O.A.S.I.S.

The acronym stands for “Online Asperger Syndrome information and Support.” Created by parents, this site offers research articles, support groups, practitioner referrals, and more online at udel.edu/bkirby/asperger. The group’s recently revised book, The OASIS Guide to Asperger Syndrome, is a handbook for parents.

American Music Therapy Association
