Health Tips: Multivitamins Boost Memory for Older Men?

A recent study published in Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical and Experimental showed that when men took multivitamins over an eight-week trial period their contextual recognition memory performance was significantly better. Test groups were men between the ages of 50 and 74 divided into a double-blind trial. The multivitamin was also taken with mineral supplements with added herbal ingredients. Other contributors to this finding could be vitamins C and E, and the herbs Ginkgo biloba and Panax ginseng.
